Short version: floriankm.com sets no cookies. It keeps two small preferences in your browser's local storage, and the third-party maps, fonts, and imagery it loads may set cookies of their own.
Storage this site uses
These are stored with the browser's localStorage API on your device only. They are never transmitted to me and contain no identifiers.

Both are strictly functional. No consent is required for storage that only does what you asked the site to do, which is why the notice on the dashboard is informational and has a single acknowledgement button.

- Use Clear saved settings in the footer of any page.

Third-party cookies
The dashboard embeds live resources from other organisations. When your browser fetches them, those organisations may set or read their own cookies under their own policies. I do not place, read, or control those cookies, and the site works without them.
- Map tiles from CARTO / OpenStreetMap, RainViewer, and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet.
- Fonts from Google Fonts.
- Libraries from unpkg and jsDelivr.
- Imagery and data from NOAA, NWS, NASA, and the other providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
Most browsers let you block third-party cookies entirely. Doing so does not break any feature of this site.
No analytics, no advertising
There is no Google Analytics, no ad network, no session recording, and no A/B testing script on this site. If that ever changes, this notice will be updated first.
